ABOUT
An experienced and prolific Sculptor, Painter, Conservation artist/researcher who displays both confidence and originality in all his works. Able to move comfortably from the academic to the creative spheres bringing a high degree of analytical thought, and creative process to both. Appreciative of the use of communication both in and through artistic media, and determined to express this in every endeavour. At ease when working and sharing ideas and concepts with others in order to achieve a productive process and a definitive outcome.
Has been teaching art since 1987 and has taught at National College of Arts, he has also supervised PhD candidates in leading universities of Pakistan and abroad. He has also served as director at Pakistan National Council of the Arts, Islamabad from 1989 to 1990. He also has studied in various universities, including National College of Arts (Pakistan), Chelsea College of Arts (England), University of Brighton (England) Concordia University (Canada), Université de Montréal (Canada) and Algonquin College (Canada). Jafri has a PhD in Fine Art, Bachelor of Fine Arts and a Master of Arts degree.

SKILLS AND ACHIEVEMENTS
Highly developed communication skills covering all mediums with a great emphasis on non-verbal communication.
An experienced painter and interior designer, able to handle national and international projects with refined and effective methodology.
Extensive experience of exhibiting work as a painter, sculptor internationally, liaising and collaborating with other artists with very different ethics.
Working as an Artist in residence at various institutions allowed the development of interpretive skills to meet the requirements of the sponsoring organisations.
Through research and experience have developed and enhanced the concept of individual perception and execution, essential when both teaching and creating new artworks.
